At about 10:15am this Okonkwo Matthew declared his interest in contesting for the position of the SUG president in the ongoing elections. In his words;



" Great Nigerian students of the Federal University of technology  Owerri IMO State,the hour has come and now is the time to choose a competent leader who will work towards the restoration of the Aluta Union, a man that is worth continuing the race from where the present Government under the leadership of His Excellency, High Comr . Barr. Dr Duru Conatus Chijioke will stop.

I present to you Okonkwo Matthew a 300 level student from the Dept of Petroleum Engineering (SEET). A man of integrity, a man of prestige, a man who leadership runs in his veins, a man with special abilities to transform, a man with whom all assurance cannot fail. Together we can restore the Aluta Union. Vote wisely.
