POLITICS TODAY
"THE CHURCH AND POLITICS"
Someone from Church fellowship group asked me this question. "Are you sure you are ready to play the dirty game of politics because its very very dirty and we don't have much time in this world " Here was my response.

Thanks for your concern. In as much as we know the time is near, i believe we were not created to just be observers. The government determine most of the rest of things. I think politics is dirty because only dirty people play it. A lot has been going on in this country if only we had good leadership it would not have been so. The people are suffering but they don't care because they don't fear God. If only someone who truly fear God emerges as our president, Chai!!! The killings and poverty all over the country would have been history because we are so blessed with both human and mineral resources. We have been ruled by evil people. We (The good people, Children of God) must now get involve and *get a seat at the same table where the decisions are been made.* We have a future to protect, our children unborn are counting on us. We are only good at complaining, criticizing and pointing blame fingers. I decided to quit from complaining and get involved. Its not going to be easy but the fact that is a just cause I am willing to go head long into it. And get to the end of the river. Its time children of God gets to pass the bills, make the laws and stamp the policies. I decided to start the fight from my own state, but the target is for the whole nation. A journey of a thousand miles begins with a step. I may not make it, but let this be the beginning of a new era. An era where children of God know they are supposed to be in charge just as God commanded us to dominate. Its a wake up call for any believer. This is our time, we must be ready to fight the good fight of faith. In Hebrew I read, some men kept the faith but did not see the promise. Let's initiate the movement. If we don't get there, others may just be inspired by our faith and determination and continue where we stopped perhaps they will see the promise or their children would. To answer your question specifically, people don't need to be in politics to get dirty. anyone can get dirty doing anything. Even selling pure water. So its a choice. And Alas politics its not a dirty game. That was the lie by the wolfs to keep us away from it so they can continue to rule over us. We don't need a ruler, we need a leader. John F. Kennedy said, and I quote *"Politics is too important to be left for a politicians".*
And the Bible confirmed that when it said if the righteous in on the throne the people rejoice. I don't need to tell you what happens when the wicked is on the throne because that's what we are seeing today, in our own community, our States and our dear great nation.
Christians must not just pray on their kneels but also get involved with their hands. The same way you can't pray for food and sleep and wait for the food to come to your bed, same way we can't just pray for good governance and not get to work.
