Ex-Deputy Speaker, Emeka Ihedioha Throws Hat In The Ring… Joins Imo Guber Race
The former deputy speaker of the House of Representatives, Hon. Emeka Ihedioha has joined the race for the Imo State oval office for the forthcoming 2019 elections.
So much noise has already been made regarding the fast approaching 2019 elections and whilst other politicians are still pondering over their chances, one of those who have decided is the amiable man of style who’s said to be a grassroot politician of note.
According to Enquirermag’s sources, the staunch PDP legislator who’s representing the Aboh Mbaise/Ngor Okpala Federal Constituency at the National Assembly, Abuja has today signified his interest to join the IMO guber race in 2019.
The former deputy speaker of the House of Representatives, Enquirermag gathered moments ago picked the official nomination form to contest for the prestigious position of Imo state governor under the platform of the PDP.
According to reports, he was recently hosted at the National Secretariat by the National Organism Secretary, Col. Austa Akobunde
While speaking at the well attended event, Hon. Emeka reaffirmed his commitment to a better Imo and promised to reinforce the rule of law where quality infrastructures, employment opportunities will be the order of the day in Imo State.
He urged the masses to remain patient as he slammed the current government saying the days of bad leadership, recklessness and deceit would soon become a thing of the past.
The honourable was accompanied by some members of the National Assembly both former and present, some of whom included, Hon. Enzewa Francis, Hon. Eddy Mbadiwe, Hon. Gerald Irona Chindeu Chukwonye, Hon. Chinemerem Madu, Barr. P. G. U Madu and other well wishers.
